Mr. Mehmet Sami

Mehmet Sami, is an Executive Board Member of Ata Invest - an independent investment banking/full service brokerage operation headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey with offices in New York and Dubai. Mr. Sami joined Ata Invest in 1994 to establish the firm’s Corporate Finance and International Equity Sales & Trading operations, as well as restructuring Research to service local and international investors. He has also established and served in the IC of the first Private Equity Fund in Turkey between 2000-2007. Between 1988-1994, he built Corporate Finance execution skills at Finansbank and Euroturk Bank.

Since 1988, he has undertaken numerous advisory and placement assignments (M&A, PE and Privatization Advisory) while servicing institutional investors through the establishment of Ata’s international presence . Mr Sami holds two Independent Director roles and serves on several NGOs including DEIK‘s Bilateral Business Councils and the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey.
